350.orgNYC is organizing buses to bring demonstrators from New York City to Washington, DC, on Sunday, February 17, to demand that President Obama refuse to approve the Keystone XL pipeline and begin to lead on global warming.
On Feb. 12, we added more buses, one from Eighth Avenue and 34th Street, Manhattan, and one from Atlantic and Flatbush Avenues, Brooklyn.
Buses will leave at 7 am from:2 locations in Manhattan (Eighth Ave between 34th and 35th Streets, above Penn Station; and the Upper West Side Broadway and 72nd), Brooklyn (Grand Army Plaza; Atlantic and Flatbush Aves), and the Bronx (Yankee Stadium). The rally begins at 12 noon, and buses will depart Washington at 4 pm that afternoon. We will email you with information about departure locations and other updates.

To reserve a place on a bus, people must RSVP AND submit payment of $30. Until the payment is received, seats will not be held.

Applications for scholarships are now closed.
Donations to underwrite bus travel for low income people are welcome and tax deductable. Please enter the amount of the donation on the appropriate line, and we will send you our thanks and confirmation for IRS purposes.
